Went to the Tiki house to eat lunch with Mirta. Roasted some figs, put some pasta onto the tiki stove.
Szechuan style eggplant. Please excuse my absence. Eat-in is still full on, though there have been some lazy cooking days (I’m big on the vegetable roasting, soooo easy) - stay tuned for recipes and more.
Quasi-potluck: I went the simple (and tired) route and made some guacamole and roasted some beets + potatoes + corn. Nicholas/Susan/Zach brought it and made some chipotle beans and rice with leeks on the fly. Danielle/Steve brought Indian rice with tofu and green beans. Max brought a ton of wine. 8 days deep!
