I didn’t have anyone over for eat-in food and fun today because I knew I would need to focus and study for my midterm tomorrow. But instead of studying, I ended up making a vegan pizza. I didn’t use any yeast (couldn’t find any in the house), but I did make the crust with a mix of wheat and white, which I think helped make it a little fluffier. But who knows, I’m no scientist! Topped it off with some veg cheese, tomatoes from the CSA and herbs from my garden. At least my roommate Ana was around to try some. Sometime in the next week or 2, I want to make some Chinese pizzas (not quite scallion pancakes, but pizza with Chinese flavorings)!
